Data

GDPR for Startups and SMEs

The new EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which was adopted on the 27th of April 2016, will come into effect on the 25th of May 2018. The GDPR will significantly increase the scope of applicability concerning the processing of personal data as basically the GDPR will be applicable to all companies processing personal data. Simply put, if the company has got so much as one customer or one employee, the company will be likely to process personal data, whereby the GDPR will come into play.

In our own line of business, where we on a daily basis assist startups and growing SMEs, we have noticed that many companies remain quite unaware of the meaning of the GDPR in light of their own business operations. As the GDPR will require measures from almost all companies, we decided to grab the GDPR-bull by its horns, whereby we want to offer also to smaller companies a GDPR Starting Package. With the help of our GDPR Starting Package the company gets a clear understanding of the current situation regarding personal data processing and a concrete action plan for necessary measures.

Our GDPR Starting Package consists of the following steps:

– The drafting of a customized GDPR questionnaire to the company

– The review and analysis of the answers given by the company and a review of possible current documentation provided by the company

– A meeting with us, whereby we would go through the current situation

– A concrete action plan for necessary measures (including fixed prices for the measures)

In order to make sure that there is no barrier to contact us, the fixed price for our GDPR Starting Package is only 500 EUR (+ VAT 24%) no matter the size of the company. After the GDPR Starting Package has been completed, we offer only fixed priced packages for the following next steps. This is a promise.

By ordering our GDPR Starting Package, a company does not only receive information of the current level of data processing, but also a peace of mind knowing that the relevant data protection principles are duly taken into consideration. Therefore do not hesitate to contact us if our GDPR Starting Package interests you.
