Nordic Law Advised Northcrypto on the Extension of Its CASP Authorization

Nordic Law acted as legal advisor to Northcrypto in the extension of its crypto-asset service provider (CASP) authorization under the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA). Following the extension, the company can execute, receive and transmit orders for crypto-assets on behalf of its clients.

Northcrypto is a Finnish crypto-asset service provider through which clients can buy and sell more than 260 different cryptocurrencies. With its extended authorization, the company is well positioned to serve its clients even more broadly.

Nordic Law's involvement was led by our Managing Partner Max Atallah and Partner Mikael Huhtala. Nordic Law advised Northcrypto throughout the extension process, from start to finish. The engagement continues our long-standing cooperation with the company, as we also assisted Northcrypto in obtaining its CASP authorization for custody and transfer services.
